A women who was attending a missions conference several years ago, heard the speaker say that God could use the gifts and talents He has placed in each person to serve in the area of missions. She felt quite skeptical when she heard this because she believed she didn’t have anything to offer.
After the meeting, this lady spoke to the speaker and told him that she did not have any gifts or talents, so how could she serve in the area of missions. He asked her what she liked doing and what she was good at. She told him, ‘The only thing I am only good at, is baking cakes.’ The speaker then told her, ‘God can use your cakes. Bake cakes, give them to your neighbours, and simply ask them if they would like to come to church with you.’
The lady went away and began baking cakes, taking them to her neighbours and inviting them to church. These neighbours were appreciative of the cakes, but declined the invitation to church.
At this point you would think she’d give up, right?
She didn’t allow the ‘no’ from her neighbours to deter her, but instead continued the rounds once again – cake in hand. The response was the same. The neighbours would thank her for the cake, but reject the invitation to church. Then came the breakthrough. She knocked on the door of a woman who had 2 sons. Our ‘cake’ lady had been there before, and after gifting this woman with a cake, she once more invited this family to her church. This time, and for the first time, she heard the word ‘yes’. The woman agreed to take her 2 boys to church.
The mother and her 2 boys attended church, and from that day forward, continued attending church. Over time, her 2 boys got saved, and today, those boys are in ministry.
Don’t underestimate your ‘cake’. What is your ‘cake’? Whatever God has placed in your hands, dedicate it to God and see what He will do with it.

Such a good story! Never. Underestimate. What. God. Can. Do.
