How do we become peace-carriers?
We can only become peace-carriers when we know the peace-giver, Jesus. However, just knowing the peace-giver is not enough to be a peace-carrier. To be a true peace-carrier we have to still our hearts and allow Him to administer that genuine medicinal peace into our spirit.
If you have received an injection of any kind in your life time, you will know that the doctor always asks you to stay still so he can administer the medicine into the right vein so it does the job it was intended to do. Take note of this important lesson; All we were asked to do by the doctor was to be still and allow him to do the work. We can only receive the injection of peace when we stop wriggling around, take a breath, relax and allow our peace-giver to administer His medicine into our soul.
The scripture below says we can be in perfect and CONSTANT peace when we keep our mind, our trust, our dependance, our focus on the peace-giver.
3 ‘You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on you—in both inclination and character, because he trusts and takes refuge in You [with hope and confident expectation]. 4 ‘Trust [confidently] in the Lord forever [He is your fortress, your shield, your banner], for the Lord God is an everlasting rock [the rock of ages]. Isaiah 26:3-5 (AMP)
Once we have received that genuine peace, experience the affect it has on us personally, we become a peace-carrier. How beautiful it is for us who are messengers of peace because we now get to take that good news to others.
PEACE CARRIER SCRIPTURE
What a beautiful sight it is to see messengers coming with good news! How beautiful to see them coming down from the mountains with a message about peace! How wonderful it is when they bring the good news that we are saved! How wonderful when they say to Zion, ‘Your God rules!’ Isaiah 52:7 (NIRV)
My prayer for you is that you know God’s peace and become a peace-carrier.

Great blog Deb. In this crazy, crazy world we are all navigating, we certainly need the peace that only Jesus can give us, but we are then ‘need’ to be ‘Peace Carriers’ to those searching for it.
